Wilted Salad
Wilted Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 bunch leaf lettuce, torn, 8 radishes, sliced, 6 green onions with tops, sliced, 5 strips bacon, fried crisp and 2 tbsp. red wine vinegar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Toss lettuce, radishes and onions in a large bowl; set aside. In a large skillet, cook bacon until crisp.
Drain on paper towel. Add vinegar, lemon juice, sugar and pepper to hot drippings. Stir well and cook slightly until bubbly.
Pour hot dressing over salad and toss gently.
Crumble bacon and sprinkle on top.
