White Fudge is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 c. sugar, 3/4 c. sour cream, 1/2 c. white corn syrup, 3 tbsp. butter and 1/4 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Combine first 5 ingredients in saucepan.
Bring to boil slowly, stirring until sugar dissolves.
Boil without stirring over medium heat to 236Β°.
Remove from heat and let stand 15 minutes.
Do not stir.
Add vanilla; beat until mixture starts to lose gloss (about 8 minutes).
Stir in nuts and quickly pour into buttered pan.
Cool and cut into squares.
