Combine first 5 ingredients in pan.
Bring to boil, slowly stirring until sugar dissolves.
Boil without stirring over medium heat to 236Β° on candy thermometer (soft ball stage).
Remove from heat.
Do not stir!
Let stand 15 minutes.
