White Chocolate Cake
White Chocolate Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. butter, 4 c. sugar, 1/4 lb. white chocolate, melted, 4 eggs and 2 1/2 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Preheat oven to 350Β°.
Cream 1 cup butter, 2 cups sugar and chocolate.
Beat in eggs, one at a time.
Stir in flour, baking powder, dash of salt, 1 teaspoon vanilla and buttermilk.
Fold in pecans and coconut.
Bake in layer pans for 30 minutes or tube pan for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Mix remaining sugar, butter and vanilla in saucepan.
Add dash of salt and evaporated milk.
Let stand for 1 hour.
Stir occasionally.
Cook to soft ball stage.
Beat until creamy.
Spread on cake.
