White Bread
White Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. warm water, 2 tsp. sugar, 2 tbsp. dry yeast, 1 1/2 c. hot water and 4 tbsp. shortening, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

This makes 4 loaves.
Bake at 325Β° for 35 to 40 minutes. Dissolve yeast and 2 teaspoons sugar in warm water.
Set aside for 10 minutes.
Mix hot water, shortening, salt and sugar in large mixer bowl; add milk.
Add 2 cups flour to make sure the mixture is cool enough to add the yeast.
Add enough flour to make a soft dough.
Knead a few minutes.
Let rise twice, then work out in loaves.
Let rise and bake.
