Cream butter and sugar.
Add eggs, one at a time.
Add flour alternately with cream.
Add flavoring.
Pour into a tube pan that has been sprayed with Pam or greased and floured.
Place cake in a cold oven.
Set temperature at 325Β° and bake for 1 1/2 hours or until done.
Cool on rack for 15 minutes.
Turn out of pan.
