Welsh Cookies
Welsh Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 7 c. flour, 2 1/2 c. sugar, 3 tsp. nutmeg, 2 tsp. salt and 6 tsp. baking powder, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Combine dry ingredients; blend margarine and lard into dry ingredients as you crust.
Add currants. Make a well in the center; add beaten eggs and milk to well. Form a ball of dough.
The dough has formed and the bowl is clean, break smaller pieces and roll to 1/4-inch thickness. Cut in circles electric griddle at 300Β°.
Fry on one side
3 minutes, then flip once and fry until brown. Cool on racks.
Bag in plastic.
Makes 6 dozen.
