Wedding Cakes is an easy dinner. Made with 1 c. butter, 1 c. powdered sugar, 1/2 tsp. vanilla, 1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour and 1/2 c. finely chopped pecans, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

In medium size bowl with mixer, beat butter and 1/2 cup sugar until light and fluffy.
Add vanilla and flour; mix well.
Stir in nuts.
Cover and chill for 1 hour.
Preheat oven to 350Β°.
Shape dough into balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake for 15 minutes.
Let stand on sheet for 2 to 3 minutes before removing to a wire rack.
Cool completely, then roll again in sugar.
Makes 3 dozen.
Can be frozen up to 3 months.
