Walnut Florentines

Combine butter, cream and brown sugar in saucepan; heat slowly until butter melts.
Remove from heat, stir in flour and salt and blend until smooth.
Stir in walnuts and orange peel.
Drop by rounded teaspoonful on greased cookie sheet.
Flatten lightly with back of spoon.
Bake at 350Β° for 10 to 12 minutes.
Let stand 1 or 2 minutes on cookie sheet then remove with spatula to wire rack to cool.
When cool, melt chocolate and spread bottoms of cookies with thin layer of chocolate.
