Waldeck Hoagies
Waldeck Hoagies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. lean ground beef, 1 lb. mild breakfast sausage, 1 qt. oliverios medium hot peppers and sauce, 1 pkg. hoagie buns (6 to 8) and 1 pkg. shredded mozzarella cheese, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Brown sausage in large skillet.
Drain off grease.
Brown beef and onion in skillet.
Drain off grease.
Mix beef, onion and sausage in large pot. Add the peppers and sauce.
Heat until boiling.
Simmer for 5 minutes.
Place mixture on hoagie bun and top with cheese.
Place in oven (microwave) until cheese melts (approximately 2 minutes).
