Vinegar Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. brown sugar, 1 c. white sugar, 1 c. butter or margarine, 1/2 c. shortening and 2 eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Cream butter, shortening and sugars thoroughly.
Add eggs and mix well.
Add vinegar and blend.
Sift flour and baking soda 4 times.
(It is important to sift 4 times; it makes them lighter.) Sift into the creamed mixture, a little at a time.
Add extracts and make into little balls.
Press flat with a fork.
Bake at 350Β° for 10 minutes.
