Vegetable Soup
Vegetable Soup is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. stewing beef, 1 (20 oz.) pkg. soup vegetables or 1 c. each: frozen peas, corn, green beans, lima beans and carrots, 1 c. shredded cabbage, 3 medium potatoes, diced and 1 small onion, diced, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Brown stewing meat.
Combine meat, vegetables and water in crock-pot or large pot.
Season to taste with salt, pepper and thyme.
Add soup bone.
Cook on high for 5 hours or low for 10 hours for crock-pot.
Cook over medium heat for 4 hours on stove. Remove soup bone before serving.
