Vanilla Wafer Cake
Vanilla Wafer Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (12 oz.) box vanilla wafers, rolled, 3/4 c. butter or oleo, 1/2 c. milk, 1/2 c. chopped nuts and 1 (3 1/2 oz.) flaked coconut, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Crush or roll wafers (very fine), add coconut.
Mix well and set aside.
Work butter with spoon until soft; gradually add sugar, beat until fluffy.
Add eggs (one at a time, beat after each). Beat until light and fluffy, add alternately with crumbs and coconut mixture, mixing well after each addition of milk.
Beat until blended.
Fold in nuts.
Turn onto a well-greased 10-inch tube pan.
Bake for 1 1/2 hours at 325Β° or until done.
Allow cake to cool thoroughly before removing from pan.
