Vanilla Frozen Yogurt
Vanilla Frozen Yogurt is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 20 oz. plain yogurt, 1/2 c. sugar, 1 envelope gelatin, softened in 1/4 c. water, 2 tsp. vanilla and dash of salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Scald evaporated milk over low heat to avoid "skinning". Stir.
Add sugar, salt and softened gelatin.
Stir until completely dissolved and smooth.
Add yogurt and vanilla. Mix well.
Chill at least 2 hours.
Pour into can and freeze.
May add fruit to make other flavors.
