Upside-Down Cake
Upside-Down Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 tbsp. butter, 2/3 c. brown sugar, pineapple rings, nutmeats and 3/4 c. white sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
Melt 2 tablespoons butter in a 9-inch pan.
Add brown sugar; stir until melted.
Place pineapple and nuts over butter and brown sugar mixture.
Combine white sugar and egg, milk, vanilla, 2 tablespoons butter and shortening.
Add flour, baking powder and salt.
Pour over pineapple and brown sugar mixture.
Bake at 350Β° for 30 to 45 minutes; cool to lukewarm and turn out onto plate.
