Turkey Chowder
Turkey Chowder is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. leftover turkey, cubed, 3 c. water, 2 or 3 slices bacon, cut up, 1 medium onion, chopped and 1 (16 oz.) can diced tomatoes, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

In a large saucepan partially cook bacon; stir in onion.
Cook until onion is tender.
Stir in water, undrained tomatoes, turkey, potatoes, carrots, thyme, salt and pepper.
Bring to boiling; reduce heat.
Cover and simmer 30 to 35 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
Mash slightly to thicken.
