Mix cake by directions on box.
Fill paper lined cupcake tins 2/3 full.
Cream the cream cheese with sugar and beat in salt and egg. Stir in chips. Drop 1 rounded teaspoonful of cheese mixture into middle of each cupcake.
Bake at 350Β° for 15 to 20 minutes. These are so delicious they need no frosting!
