Tuna 'n Rice Dinner
Tuna 'N Rice Dinner is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 tbsp. butter or margarine, 1 c. chopped onion, 1 pkg. (10 oz.) frozen peas and carrots, thawed, 1 1/2 c. milk and 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of chicken soup, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Melt margarine in large skillet on medium-high heat.
Add onion; cook and stir until tender but not browned.
Stir in vegetables, milk, soup and pepper.
Bring to boil.
Stir in tuna, rice and parsley; cover.
Remove from heat.
Let stand 5 minutes. Stir.
Garnish with almonds (if desired).
Makes 4 to 6 servings.
