Tuna-Cheese Casserole
Tuna-Cheese Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 large onion, sliced, 1/4 c. butter, 12 (1/2-inch) slices vienna or white bread, 3 eggs and 3 c. milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Slice onion.
Separate into rings and saute.
Spread one side of bread with butter.
Beat eggs slightly.
Add milk, Worcestershire sauce and salt; blend.
Place 4 slices bread in single layer in buttered 1 1/2-quart casserole dish.
Trim if necessary.
Top with layers of 1/2 onion rings, melted butter, tuna and cheese.
Repeat to make 2 more layers.
Pour egg mix over top with Parmesan and paprika.
Cover and chill at least 1 hour or overnight.
Bake, uncovered, at 350Β° for 45 minutes or until golden.
