Transfer Restaurant's Holiday Fruit Cake
Transfer Restaurant'S Holiday Fruit Cake is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. shelled walnuts, 1 1/2 c. shelled pecans, 1 1/2 c. shelled brazil nuts, 1 pkg. (7 1/4 oz.) pitted dates and 2/3 c. chopped candied orange peel, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Fruits.
Mix flour, baking powder, salt and sugar together and add to nut mixture. Mix well to well and add rum.
Add this to coated nut mixture and thoroughly blend together.
Pour into 2 greased and floured bread pans.
Bake in 300Β° oven for 1 1/2 hours.
Stores well, tightly wrapped and in cool place.
