Tomato Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 unbaked deep-dish pie shell, 1 large onion, chopped, 2 c. chopped, fresh tomatoes, 2 tbsp. flour and salt and pepper, to taste, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

👨‍🍳 Instructions

Bake pie shell at 350°until partially cooked.

Saute onion and tomatoes in skillet sprayed with nonstick cooking spray until onion is tender.

Sprinkle with flour, salt and pepper; mix well. Spoon into pie shell.

Combine mayonnaise and cheeses in bowl; mix well.

Spread over filling; sprinkle with basil.

Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.

Yield: 6 servings.
