Tomato Macaroni
Tomato Macaroni is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (16 oz.) tomatoes, 2 tbsp. butter or margarine, 1 tsp. salt, 3 tsp. salt and 2 c. uncooked elbow macaroni, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Heat tomatoes, butter, 1 teaspoon salt and the oregano to a boil.
Reduce heat, simmer 10 or 12 minutes, stirring occasionally.
While tomato sauce cooks, heat 6 cups of water and 3 teaspoons of salt to a boil.
Add macaroni and heat to a boil. Boil, uncovered, stirring occasionally 7 to 10 minutes or until tender.
Drain and put macaroni into serving dish, pour sauce on macaroni and sprinkle with cheese.
Serves 6.
