Roll steaks seasoned with salt and pepper. Heat oil in heavy skillet.
Brown meat on both sides.
Remove from pan.
Saute onions until limp, but not brown. Add steaks, mushrooms, water bouillon skillet. Cover and simmer until meat is tender, about 1 hour.
