Tom Fina's Holiday Egg Nog
Tom Fina'S Holiday Egg Nog is an easy dinner. Made with 6 eggs, 3/4 c. sugar, 1 pt. heavy cream, 1 pt. whole milk and 1/2 pt. whiskey and 1/8 c. rum (can be omitted or increased according to taste), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Separate eggs.
In a large mixing bowl, whip egg whites until they are stiff and dry.
Gently fold sugar in.
Whip yolks until they are thick.
Fold the thickened yolks into egg whites.
With the mixer, on slow speed, gradually add milk, cream and alcohol (if desired).
Makes two quarts.
