Toffee
Toffee is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. chopped pecans, 1 c. sugar, 2 sticks margarine, 2 tbsp. cold water and 1 tbsp. white karo, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Arrange nuts in a single layer on greased foil in a flat, approximately 9 x 13-inch, pan.
Boil sugar, margarine, Karo and water, stirring constantly, to hard crack stage (300Β° on candy thermometer).
Pour evenly over pecans.
Break up candy bars and place on top to melt and spread.
Let stand several hours for chocolate to harden.
Break into pieces and store in an airtight container.
