Toffee
Toffee is an easy dinner. Made with 1 stick butter, 1/4 c. chopped almonds, 3/4 c. packed brown sugar and 1/4 c. chocolate chips, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Butter an 8 or 9-inch cake pan and sprinkle almonds in bottom of pan.
Melt butter in a saucepan and add brown sugar.
Bring to a boil and boil, stirring constantly, for 6 1/2 to 7 minutes. Immediately pour over almonds in buttered pan.
Sprinkle chocolate chips over hot toffee and cover with a plate or lid to melt chips. Once the chips are melted, spread evenly over toffee and refrigerate until chocolate hardens.
Break and store in cool place.
