Toasted Herb Rice
Toasted Herb Rice is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. long grain rice, 2 tbsp. margarine, 1 can (10 oz.) chicken or beef broth, boiling, 3/4 c. boiling water and 4 green onions, chopped finely, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Measure rice into oven-proof casserole with lid.
Place into 325Β° oven.
Roast 20 minutes or until rice is toasted and golden. Remove from oven.
Add margarine to rice and stir until melted. Pour boiling broth and water over rice; stir.
Cover.
Return to oven.
Bake 30 minutes or until rice is done and has absorbed all liquid.
Stir in finely chopped green onions, soy sauce and herb of your choice.
Makes 4 servings.
Good served with baked or roasted chicken or beef.
