Three Rivers Chicken
Three Rivers Chicken is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 chicken breasts (boneless and skinless), 1/4 tsp. pepper, 1/2 c. corn oil, 2 pkg. asparagus, thawed and 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of chicken soup, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Preheat oven to 375Β°.
Brown chicken in oil; sprinkle with pepper.
Remove from pan and blot with paper towel.
In a lightly greased casserole dish, spread asparagus spears and place chicken on top of spears.
Mix next 4 ingredients together in a small bowl and pour over chicken-asparagus.
Bake, covered, for 30 minutes. Uncover and sprinkle cheese over top.
Bake for 5 minutes.
Serves 4.
