Texas Pecan Cake
Texas Pecan Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. all-purpose flour, 2 c. sugar, 1 tsp. baking soda, 1/2 tsp. salt and 1/2 c. buttermilk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
In a bowl, mix together flour, sugar, baking soda, salt, buttermilk and eggs.
In a pan bring to boil 2 sticks of margarine, cocoa and water.
Add the ingredients, a little at a time, and mix well.
If you like, add 1 cup chopped pecans (I normally do).
Pour into a greased and floured 13 x 9-inch glass pan.
Bake for 20 minutes at 350Β°.
