Texas Corn Bread
Texas Corn Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. corn meal, 1 tsp. salt, 3 tsp. baking powder, 2 eggs, slightly beaten and 3/4 c. vegetable oil, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
👨🍳 Instructions
Combine first 3 ingredients in mixing bowl.
Add eggs, oil and sour cream and stir until blended.
Stir in corn and peppers. Pour half the batter in a buttered 8 x 8 x 2-inch pan.
Cover with Cheddar cheese.
Add rest of batter and bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes.
