Tea Biscuit
Tea Biscuit is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. flour, 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder, 1 egg, 1/4 c. milk and 1/2 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Mix and sift dry ingredients.
Cut in shortening with fork until mealy.
Add beaten egg to milk.
Add carefully to other ingredients.
Toss on slightly floured board or paper.
Roll 1/4-inch thick; cut with biscuit cutter.
Spread 1 biscuit with soft butter.
Place a second biscuit on top.
Place in a slightly floured pan and bake in a moderate oven.
