Tater-Topped Casserole
Tater-Topped Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. chopped onion, 1/3 c. sliced celery, 1 lb. lean ground beef, 1/2 tsp. salt and 1/4 tsp. pepper, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
In a skillet, cook onion, celery and ground beef until meat is brown and vegetables are tender.
Drain.
Stir in salt and pepper. Spoon mixture into a greased 12 x 8 x 2-inch baking dish.
Spread soup over meat mixture.
Top with frozen potatoes.
Bake at 400Β° for about 40 minutes until bubbly.
Remove from oven and top with cheese.
Return to oven and bake until cheese melts, about 5 minutes.
