Tahitian Supper
Tahitian Supper is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. brown sugar, 3 tbsp. cornstarch, 1 can (13 1/2 oz.) pineapple chunks, drained, 1 c. water and 2 tbsp. vinegar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Mix brown sugar and cornstarch and add the syrup drained from pineapple cubes; add the 1 cup water and 2 tablespoons vinegar. Cook, stirring constantly, until clear and thick.
Stir in cubed meat, pineapple cubes and the pepper strips.
Cook over low heat until heated through.
Serve over cooked rice.
