Swiss Cheese Egg Bake
Swiss Cheese Egg Bake is an easy dinner. Made with 8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled, 2 c. soft bread crumbs, soaked in 1 c. milk and 8 eggs and 1/2 tsp. salt, soft scrambled in 3 tbsp. butter, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Fold drained bread into eggs and cook until soft set.
Fold into greased 8 x 8-inch baking dish and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Cover with Swiss cheese slices and sprinkle with bacon. Bake at 400Β° for 15 minutes.
Can be made the day before. Doubling the recipe fills 9 x 13-inch pan.
