Sweet Potato Pies

Peel and clean the potatoes.
Place in a pot and cover with water; bring to and let cook over a medium fire until done.
Remove the potatoes from the water and drain.
In a mixing bowl mash the potatoes well.
Add the butter, flavor, nutmeg, cinnamon, salt, sugar and eggs.
Mix well and gradually add the milk until a smooth custard is made.
A little more or a little less milk may be needed.
Pour in a 9-inch pie pan and bake in a preheated to 2 1/2 hours at 325Β°.
Makes 3 to 5 pies.
