Sweet Potato Pie
Sweet Potato Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. mashed sweet potatoes, 3 tbsp. butter, 7/8 c. sugar, 1 tsp. cinnamon and 1 tsp. allspice, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Add butter, sugar and spices to hot potatoes.
Separate eggs. Beat egg yolks.
Add egg yolks, salt, milk and vanilla to the sweet potato mixture.
Fold in the beaten egg whites.
Pour into an unbaked pie shell and bake at 375Β° for 1 hour.
When cool, serve with whipped cream.
