Sweet Potato Pie
A rich Southern sweet potato pie loaded with butter, eggs, nutmeg, and a hint of butter flavoring. Custardy, fragrant, and unapologetically sweet.

Combine potatoes, milk and butter.
Beat with electric mixer at medium speed, rinsing beaters several times to remove strings from potatoes.
Mix all dry ingredients, add alternately to potato mixture.
Then add egg and mix thoroughly, add flavoring and beat. Prick two pie crusts with a fork.
Pour potato mixture into pie crusts.
Bake 45 minutes in a 350Β° oven.
