Sweet Pea Soup
Sweet Pea Soup is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 pkg. dried green peas, 1 pkg. dried yellow peas, 2 carrots, quartered and sliced, 1 onion, chopped and 1 parsnip, quartered and sliced, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
π¨βπ³ Instructions
Add peas and water or vegetable cooking water according to directions on package (or 3 cups water for every 1 cup peas) to a large stock pot.
Bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer 1/2 hour. Add vegetables and seasoning and cook until peas have disintegrated to creamy consistency and vegetables mash easily against side of pot.
