Sweet and Sour Pork(Crock-Pot)
Sweet And Sour Pork(Crock-Pot) is an impressive slow-cooker meal. Made with 1 1/2 lb. boneless pork, cut into 2-inch strips, 1 tsp. paprika, 2 tbsp. shortening, 1 small onion, thinly sliced and 1 green pepper, cut into strips, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
Sprinkle pork pieces with paprika.
Heat shortening in skillet.
Saute pork and discard fat.
Place meat in crock-pot. Add onion and pepper.
Combine the next 4 ingredients in bowl, then add vinegar, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce and 2/3 cup pineapple liquid.
(If juice does not make this much, add water.) Pour entire mixture into crock-pot.
Cook on low 8 to 9 hours, or on high 4 to 5 hours.
During last 1 to 2 hours, add pineapple. Serves 4 to 6.
