Sweet and Sour Pork
Sweet And Sour Pork is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 tsp. ginger, 1/4 c. flour, 4 pork chops, cut into 1-inch cubes, 3 tbsp. oil and 1 (8 oz.) can pineapple chunks (optional), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Mix ginger with half the flour and coat pork.
Heat oil in large frying pan; brown coated pork and remove from pan.
Drain pineapple and reserve syrup.
Add water to pineapple syrup to make 2/3 cup.
(If not using pineapple, use 2/3 cup water.)
Stir liquid into remaining flour.
Add liquid mixture, vinegar and 2 tablespoons soy sauce to fat in frying pan.
Boil 1 minute, stirring constantly.
Add sugar, pepper and pork.
Reduce heat. Cover and simmer 1 hour over low heat.
Add pineapple and green pepper and cook, uncovered, for 10 minutes.
