Swedish Rye Bread
Swedish Rye Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. rye flour, 1 1/2 c. hot water, 1/2 c. soft shortening, 1 c. molasses (grandma's) and 2 pkg. dry yeast, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.

Mix rye flour with hot water and molasses.
Add yeast to warm water.
Mix rye flour, water and molasses mixture with yeast and shortening.
Add flour.
Knead well.
Place in greased bowl and let rise until double.
Shape into 3 loaves.
Let rise again. Bake 1 hour at 325Β°.
