Swedish Cookies
Swedish Cookies is an easy dinner. Made with 2 sticks butter or oleo, 1/2 c. sugar, 1 egg, 1 tsp. vanilla or almond flavoring and 2 1/2 c. regular flour or wheat flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Beat the ingredients with eggbeaters until soft enough to put into cookie press.
Press the dough into long strips on a greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350° to 375°, depending on your oven. Leave in the oven 8 minutes.
If slightly tan at edges, turn the pan for just a few minutes.
When other side turns tan at edges, take out of oven.
When still hot, cut the strips in smaller pieces, the length you prefer.
When cold, put in box with tight cover.
