Super Peanutty Layer Cake
Super Peanutty Layer Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3/4 c. creamy peanut butter, 1/2 c. shortening, 2 1/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar, 3 eggs and 3 c. all-purpose flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Peanut butter shortening; gradually add sugar, beating eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Combine flour, baking powder and salt; add to creamed mixture alternately with milk, beginning and ending with flour mixture.
Stir in vanilla.
Pour batter into 3 greased and floured 9-inch round cake pans.
Bake at 350Β° for 18 to 20 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
In pans 10 minutes; remove from pans and cool completely on wire racks.
