Summer Sausage
Summer Sausage is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 lb. lean ground meat, 1/4 tsp. salt, 1/4 tsp. black pepper, 1/8 tsp. garlic powder and 2 tbsp. morton tender quick, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Mix all the ingredients except meat until blended.
Add meat, mixing well.
Separate into 3 sausage rolls.
If you want hotter sausage, you can roll the sausage in cracked black pepper.
Roll the sausage in foil separately.
Seal ends and put in refrigerator for 24 hours.
Remove foil and bake on rack in pan at 350Β° for 1 hour.
Makes three rolls.
Freezes well.
