Sugar Cookies Or "Tea Cakes" is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. soft butter or margarine, 1 c. sugar, 1 tsp. vanilla, 2 eggs and 2 1/2 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

👨🍳 Instructions
Cream butter or margarine, sugar, vanilla and eggs together. Sift together flour, salt and baking powder.
Mix all ingredients together.
Blend well.
Refrigerate for 10 to 15 minutes or until hard.
Roll out, then cut with cookie cutter.
Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350° to 400° for about 12 minutes.
Try baking at 350° for 8 to 10 minutes.
