Stuffed Pizza
Stuffed Pizza is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 lb. italian sausage, 1/2 lb. ground beef, 3 1/3 c. bisquick baking mix, 3/4 c. cold water and 3 c. shredded mozzarella cheese (12 oz.), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Heat oven to 450Β°.
Grease rectangular baking dish, 13 x 9 x 2-inch.
Cook and stir sausage and ground beef until brown; drain and set aside.
Mix baking mix and water until dough forms.
Divide in two parts, one part slightly larger.
Roll larger portion of dough into rectangle, 16 x 14-inches.
Place in dish; press on bottom and up sides.
Sprinkle with 1 cup of cheese; cover with 3/4 cup pizza sauce and meat mixture and other toppings.
Cover with 1 1/2 cups of the cheese.
Roll remaining dough into rectangle, 13 x 9-inches.
Place over cheese in dish.
Press bottom and top crust edges together to seal.
Make small slits in top crust.
Spread crust with remaining pizza sauce and cheese.
Bake 22 to 25 minutes or until crust is golden.
Makes 8 to 10 servings.
