Stuffed Green Peppers
Stuffed Green Peppers is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 6 medium green peppers, 1 lb. ground beef, 2 c. stewed tomatoes or 1 can, 1/3 c. chopped onion and 1 tbsp. fat, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Cut off tops of green peppers.
Pre-cook in boiling water, salt added.
Cook about 5 minutes.
Sprinkle inside with salt.
Brown meat and onion in hot fat.
Add tomatoes, rice, Worcestershire sauce and salt and pepper to taste.
Cover and simmer until rice is almost tender.
Stand upright in oblong baking dish.
Bake, uncovered, in a 350Β° oven for 25 minutes or until hot.
For crisp pepper, omit pre-cooking.
