Stuffed Green Peppers
Stuffed Green Peppers is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 6 large green peppers, 1 lb. hamburger, 2 tbsp. chopped onion, 1 tsp. salt and 3/4 c. mozzarella cheese, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Cook peppers in enough boiling water to cover for 5 minutes. Cut off tops and clean inside.
Brown hamburger and onion; drain. Stir in salts, rice and 1 cup of tomato sauce.
Heat through. Stuff each pepper with hamburger mixture.
Stand upright in ungreased baking dish.
Pour remaining sauce over peppers.
Cover and cook in a 350Β° oven for 45 minutes.
Uncover; sprinkle with cheese and bake 15 minutes more.
