Place pepper halves in boiling salted water.
Reduce heat to a simmer and cook until peppers are tender, about 5 minutes; drain. Preheat oven to 350Β°.
Combine turkey, bread crumbs, egg, salt, onion and 1 cup of ketchup or tomato sauce.
Stuff peppers with mixture and top with remaining 1 cup ketchup or tomato sauce.
Bake about 1 hour or until sauce is bubbly and meat is cooked through. Makes 6 servings.
