Stuffed Giant Shells
Stuffed Giant Shells is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. ground chuck, 1 large onion, chopped, 1 clove garlic, chopped, 8 oz. mozzarella cheese, coarsely grated and 1/4 c. chopped parsley, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
Brown ground chuck, onion and garlic until crumbly.
Drain excess fat and cool.
Stir in cheese, parsley, bread crumbs and egg.
Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Cook shells in boiling salt water until almost tender (approximately 15 minutes).
Drain and stuff with meat mixture.
Spoon 1/4 of sauce into bottom of 9 x 13 x 2-inch baking pan.
Put in stuffed shells, side by side.
Pour remaining sauce over shells.
